I can’t believe it’s all over! Today has been an emotional day of goodbyes, to the organizers and to all of my new friends from around the world (a pageant like this really makes strong bonds!). I am so honoured to have been part of this amazing event, to represent my country, to have met the amazing organizers and sponsors who took such good care of us, and to have met amazingly beautiful girls (inside and out) from around the world who all want to make a difference! The WMU organizers have been so generous, I have felt like a princess for the last 2 weeks!

We started the day at the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, which is an affiliation of the Chinese Government’s Foreign Affairs Department. The queens got to meet the governor of Beijing, and I had the opportunity to personally thank him for China’s amazing hospitality!

In the evening, we had our closing ceremonies, where we were each presented with a certificate designating us as a World Peace Ambassador of the World Miss University organization!

With Mr. Lee, the chairman of World Miss University, being designated as an international peace ambassador for the World Miss University organization!

Well, it is with sadness I say goodbye to China, I have fallen in love with this country. I am however, very happy to see all of you again! Cheers Canada, see you soon!
